For more than 47 years, Rev. Charles E. Mitchell has faithfully served Mount Olive Baptist Church with unwavering dedication, spiritual leadership, and a heart for God's people. Called by God to preach the Gospel and shepherd His flock, Pastor Mitchell has devoted his life to proclaiming the truth of God's Word, strengthening families, and helping believers grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

Pastor Mitchell's ministry has been marked by a commitment to biblical preaching, compassionate pastoral care, and a passion for seeing lives transformed through the power of Christ. Under his leadership, Mount Olive has remained a beacon of faith, hope, and love within the Moody community and beyond.

In addition to his faithful service in ministry, Pastor Mitchell is a devoted husband who values the importance of family, partnership, and Christian example. Together with his wife, he has served as an inspiration to countless individuals through their love, faithfulness, and commitment to God's work.

His favorite reminder to the church is found in Proverbs 3:5-6:

"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." (KJV)
